Berlin born Lia May-Byrd employs a palette of bold colors and a masterful technique honed by over 30 years of creative expression. Her works are filled with diverse emotional hues gathered from her adventures living in nine different countries since the age of 14. Through her art Lia juggles the sacred and sacredly profane. Each piece encourages us to look at life with a childlike wonder.
Lia currently resides in Northern Ca. with her husband, son, cats and many many chickens.
